Ari, its AI assistant, works beside every role, preparing visits, drafting documentation and keeping the next step clear, while people make the decisions. Screens adapt to each practitioner. Co-founded with Yuri McKee, MD, starting with ophthalmology.

AI-powered scribe that integrates directly into the Nextech EMR. Clinicians dictate encounters naturally; the system transcribes, structures, and auto-populates the entire chart — from exam findings to diagnoses to plan. Currently used by multiple ophthalmologists and optometrists across several clinics.
PAC Guide
AI-powered knowledge base and agent system for US Eye Florida's patient access center (PAC). Helps call center staff schedule appointments, triage ER calls, verify insurance, and route patients across 50+ providers, using AI agents that answer questions in real time. Initiated by De Rojas and co-developed with raia.

derojas.ai is led by Dr. Joaquin De Rojas, an ophthalmic surgeon, AI developer and the founder and CEO of Visari. A former medical director of one of the most successful eye care practices in the United States, with medtech startup experience, he builds the tools he wishes he had in clinic. He works at the intersection of the exam lane and the codebase, designing AI that earns clinicians' trust because it's built by one of their own.
